Cradle Mountain NP 1

Mar 8th. I get up at 5:50 to check the weather but it is too windy to kayak on the lake by the Chalet. We leave after brekkie and head to Cradle Mountain NP which is a world heritage area. We embark on a 6 hour trek which will offer spectacular views of Cradle mountain and Dove Lake. The weather is cold with light drizzle but brightens up later. This is actually quite good weather for this part of the world.
