Feb 14th. Trying to have a lazy day in Georgetown is no easy feat. We decided not to go on any trips round the Island and do very little today - We are killing time till the sleeper train departs for KL at 22:30 this evening. After getting up late and checking out of the hotel at 12:00 - we satisfy our group craving for a sandwhich by having a plain cheddar cheese sandwhich at a local cafe. We walk to the Shopping Mall for something to do with the hope that we can watch some sort of film at the cinema - No joy there. We do discover a nice little cake shop called 'Bread History' where I eat a cake with green goo in the middle, may of been guava but who knows.
We do stroll and eat at a chinese restaurant for dinner, which is actually very good.
It is almost time to depart for our sleeper train to KL, 1st class all the way - Complimentary drinks await.
