Feb 3rd. After getting up early and looking around Patong beach for a non sh!t hole of a place, we decided to check out of said hole and move round to the next beach area (Karon beach). I looked after the bags and let the others find us a place to stay and they found a cool place called My Best friends house. Relatively cheap too.
Now I have my base, I have booked up a trip to the Similan Islands on a LiveAboard boat for 2 days so I will be doing 7 dives. Can't wait although having to get up at 5.30 the next day is a pain.
