Feb 5th. Only 3 dives today before getting the speedboat back home.
Dive 1 - Boulder City, Similan #3
Bit choppy today and there is a big current - we were meant to swim to the front of the boat but we all were swimming as hard as we could but were not moving. Saw quite a few Stingrays - Didn't do a steve irwin though - he must seriously p!ssed off the one that got him as they are pretty docile. Yet more Jelly fish tickles on my arm so got the Vinegar out after the dive.
Dive 2 - Shark Fin Reef, Similan #3
Again more strong current underwater and choppy - Lots of Nemo action down here and a nice sea snake, We do a drift dive which conserves air/energy as we go with the current. After the dive at lunchtime we see some dolphins swimming with the ship.
Dive 3 - East of Eden, Similan #7
A massive moray eel is the highlight of this dive - feeling pretty tired at this point and looking forward to getting back on dry land. This is the signature location of the Similan islands - National Geographic did a documentary here where they filmed over 100 hours of footage.
Get the speedboat back and the go our for Pizza with my new friend Tania, Am leaving for Koh Phi Phi the next day
