After arriving at KL train station, we deposited our bags at left luggage (fingers crossed they don't go walkabout) and headed to Chinatown where we can catch the local bus to the Batu Caves. We struggled to stay awake for the journey and thankfully the conducter told us where to get off.
The Batu Caves are hindu shrines which get a million pilgrims in Jan/Feb. We spent about 5 minutes walking around the shrine and then came back down. The highlight of the visit was a couple of monkeys chasing and fighting each other.
