Feb 10th. An early start for us - we get a cab to the Bus station in KL, then we are told we have to walk for a bit as the bus stop is actually by a local food court. We get on the bus and then proceed slowly towards our final destination of Tanah Rata which is in the Cameron Highlands. The bus journey starts out normally and then turns slightly into the ending of the 'Italian Job' film with the bus rounding sharp blind corners and us fearing for our lives*. The highlight of the trip was when another van was coming round the bend and cut it which involved a near miss with the other van swerving out of the way. We were OK as we had the inside line - he had the drop to contend with. We arrive and get in to our hotel which turns out to be an old appartment building with marble floors and DVD, TV and satellite TV. All for just over a tenner. Sweet.
* - I may of exaggerated this for dramatic effect.
