A gruelling minibus trip to get to the port where the speedboat departs, then an hour and a half on the speedboat - we get to our main ship which is anchored in Koh Bon, a small island just off the Similan Islands. The Similan Islands are actually a national 'park' so access is restricted to certain islands. We have 4 dives planned today including a night dive. Met a cool girl on the speedboat here and we will be diving together as well.
Dive 1 - West Ridge, Koh Bon.
Quite a deep dive, we were promised Manta Rays and possibly sharks but saw neither. Cool dive though, bit of a scrum getting our kit together as the boat was packed with all the day trippers. can't wait for them to bugger off and leave us in peace.
