Dive 2 - West Ridge, Koh Bon.
Absolutely amazing dive - the best yet - lots of fishes to see, Big Scorpian fish hidden in the sand, Moray eels galore as well. We saw briefly a Manta ray swimming away from us but then half way through the dive a big shape looms large in the distance. It is a 5 metre manta ray and it is heading right towards me. We remain stationary and the Ray comes right up close and we can see its eye peering in our direction - then the ray circles us once, checking us out all the time and then it swims off into the blue. Unbelievable experience - the grace of something so big as well - they fly through the water.
