Up early and my muscles are protesting at all the effort - The breakfast at the place is an all you can eat buffet - they are quite clever as all of the food isn't appetising in the slightest so I just have a couple of slices of toast. Get on the boat - on the way to or dive location, we pass by the place where the film 'The Beach' was filmed.
Dive 1 - Bida Nok
Slightly choppy and strong current, visibility not good either, see a large shoal of barracuda above us but nothing else out of the ordinary. Worst dive so far.
Dive 2 - Malong Maya Bay
Sea is calm, Visibility is god, Lots of cool fish, and we see 2 turtles, One is about 10 metres down munching on some sea vegetation, we hover around him then leave him to his breakfast - bit of a big guy - Some trumpet fish are around as well and a Trigger fish swims past with a lump of coral in his mouth. The trigger fish here are much more mild tempered than on Koh Toa.
All in all, preferred the diving on Koh Toa and Similan Islands to here, going to take a break from diving for a bit and recharge my batteries - I have done 18 dives so far.
