The Bay of Fundy

The Bay of Fundy features the highest tide in the world - An average distance is 12 metres between Low and High tide. We go and see some fishing boats at low tide and then do a hike and return 2 hours later and the difference is cool. From being in danger of breaking a leg from falling on the deck of a boat, you could walk straight on to it. This presents problems for the local fishermen though - They get stranded if they miss the tide!
