Salty Bear Day 1

Sep 25th. After meeting my fellow Salty Bear's including a couple on their honeymoon, we head north and buy supplies from a shop and also say hello to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (Unfortunately no red uniforms for pics). After this we head to the beach for a picnic, and a bite to eat for lunch (the mosquitoes had several bites too). Then a game of frisbee and volleyball starts and one of the girls realises that her ring is missing, this one is found but then the girl who has just got married finds her wedding ring is missing. After about 40 minutes searching like a CSI team we turn up nothing. She takes it quite well but a metal detector is needed. We head off to our hostel and then do a short walk to get some great views of the Bras d'Or lakes. After that it is some games, drinks and a curry before sitting around a camp fire under the moonlight.
