The Mall, Vietnam and FDR memorials

Carrying on with my wanderings today - I visit the Vietnam Memorial which was designed by a 21 year old girl. It is simple but well done and features a list of names in chronological order of every US soldier killed during the Vietnam War. After this I wander over to the FDR monument which consists of lots of his famous speeches with waterfalls and then just 1 statue of the man with his dog. It is on a much smaller, subtly scale than the other monuments located here which fits in. Here I meet again my US and Slovakian friends (Amy and Frederika) and we are heading to the same places so we wander around heading to the Jefferson Monument.
