Keeping Amtrak Afloat - Train to Washington

Oct 10th. Like the littlest Hobo, I am moving on again - this time to the nations Capital, Washington DC. It is less than 2 hours to get there though which is good - couldn't face another long journey. I get the very nice subway to near the hostel and leave my bags there so I can spend the rest of the day exploring. Interestingly Washington is not in a State so has no representatives in the Senate - this goes against what is in the constitution and also was one of the reasons why America wanted independence from Britain - Taxation without Representation!
