Halifax

Sep 24th. I arrived in Halifax yesterday from Montreal and had a bit of time that day to wander around the street. I had a quick look at the citadel which overlooks the entire town. Also there is an old clock tower which dates back a couple of hundred years. I spend the day looking at the Atlantic Maritime museum which has some exhibits from the Titanic (It sank 300km from the shore here) and also a cool Pirates exhibit as well. Pier 21 which is Canada's version of the US Ellis Island is a bit dull. After all this excitement, it was time for an ice cream (from Cows) and then an afternoon nap. Tomorrow is the start of the 6 day Salty Bear trip which should be a blast.
