Good Bear Hunting

After a slight snooze, At 7 in the evening I head out to try and find some bears on a road that is known for bear sightings in Waterton Lakes - The Red Rock Canyon road. I cruise along looking for the big furry dudes and it isn't too long before I get my first sighting. A mum and cub a long way away on the side of a hill. Carrying on, I reach the end of the road and start heading back when I am lucky enough to see a bear on the side of the road munching away on a bush. It is fantastic to see one up close (and from the safety of a car) - they are such cool creatures. I get a few other sightings along the way as I double back on myself. One bear is just cruising around eating berries oblivious to the rain which has started. I do turn a corner with a bear right in the road, next to a couple of cars but it disappears before I can get a picture. In total I spot 6 bears (All black ones) and this is a nice end to my final day in the Rockies - I hadn't seen a single bear on all the other days in the Rockies.
