We drive off in our car and head to 'The Gondola'. This is a cable car ride that takes you up to 500 metres to one of the local mountains by Christchurch. The view at the top is spectacular and you can walk around 360 degrees to soak it all in. On one side you have got Christchurch and the bay, and the other has got Bank's peninsula which was created in an old volcanic eruption, you can also see the Southern Alps in the distance. The weather was excellent too. Also in the cable car's top station is an attraction called 'The Time Tunnel' which offers a glimpse of the regions history. It is one of the funniest things I have been on (mainly due to how bad it was). One of the dummies had a moustache like the puppet has put on him in Team America world police in order to disguise him as a muslim. Jesus wept.
