Mar 28th. We set sail at 9am for our 3 day cruise around the Whitsunday Islands. My fellow shipmates are cool - there are 22 people with 3 crew. The weather is good and the sea calm, 8 of us get the chance to put the sails up which is good fun but pretty hard work. Once the sails are up we get to appreciate why this boat holds the record for speed for trimarans (3 hulled racing yachts). We glide over the water and sail through Hook passage which is located between Whitsunday Island and Hook Island.
