Tsunami Warning!

Apr 2nd. After getting in late from Ayr last night I am awoken by a loud knock on the door with someone telling me that there is a Tsunami alert and we have to pack our bags and meet at reception. I think this is some sort of joke at first and want to get back to bed but we soon realise this is deadly serious. We gather at reception and are taken to the local coach station where we wait to see if the tsunami is going to affect Oz or not. It passes without incident in Cooktown which is far north in Queensland so we are OK. Unfortunately some people on the Solomon Islands which is close to the epi-centre were not.
