The Final Dive

Jun 29th. We head out with my Aussie pals and Asava the Dive master for a final dive. The sea is rough so we don't venture too far from the resort but the dive site is cool. There is a slight air of mucking around (safely of course) as it is Dave's last dive as well. Asava actually sneaks up on him and keeps dumping the air out of his BCD so he keeps sinking. At one point in the dive the light dims from above and then Shaun's upside down face appears right in front of my mask (To my horror!). I proceed to do this to Asava later on as well. Shaun comes up with a new underwater signal which he meant for cave - this was making a hole in 1 hand with his fist and then vigourously inserting a finger from his other hand into the hole (I thought this was the universal symbol for something else!). Asava interprets this as a swim through so we all head over and form a line to swim through, Andy the german guy goes blasting ahead and then it is realised that there is no way out (except if you are an anorexic Barracuda). We all turn around and carry on. Upon heading back for the shore Dave falls over as he jumps out of the boat and gets drenched and he doesn't hear the last of this for the rest of the evening. I did bully Nemo as well during the dive which I am sorry for.
