Panorama Trail - Vernal Falls

I continue down towards the valley, the paths fork - one is the John Muir trail and the other the Mist trail - the Mist trail is the one to choose as you go past Emerald Lake and Vernal Falls as well. The trail is well named as when you walk past Vernal falls it is so powerful that you get covered in mist. There are nice rainbows created as a result though. The hike has not to far to go now - only a couple of miles to the village and I can rest. It has taken me 4.5 hours to cover the 11 miles which isn't bad going. I relish having a well deserved ice cream.
