Zion NP

Jul 9th. I leave Bryce Canyon behind and drive the 90 odd miles to Zion National Park. I enter the eastern entrance and the drive towards where I am staying is cool - the drive is right through the canyon involving switchbacks and a mile long tunnel. I get to Springdale which is 1 mile from the parks south entrance and check in - then I have a quick trip on the shuttle bus around the park (no cars are allowed these days). The inside of the canyon is cool and I am looking forward to doing the hikes as recommended by my US friend Brian (The Narrows and Angels landing).
