After 3 hours of walking, I reach the 5 mile limit for day hikers which is Big Springs. There are some cool features along the way and some huge rocks that have fallen in the canyon. I have had a few stumbles along the way and have a few scratches on my legs but it has been really fun. I passed a few people on the way but the peace and quiet is great. I head back the way I came and check out the side canyon on the way back and reach the start of the trail again at 13:30.
