Back to Victoria

Aug 11th. I head back to Victoria from Courtenay which thankfully only takes a couple of hours. After an afternoon of pottering around I arrange to meet up with someone I met on my Tasmania tour who happens to live in Victoria. I get a bit of a tour around the place and see some pretty affluent parts of the town. It was cool to meet up and have a pub meal and catch up on travel stories as well. Victoria certainly would make a nice place to live, but property prices are a little steep. Interesting fact of the day - Vancouver Island is the same size as the UK.
