Olympic NP - Sol Duc

I continue west and head into a low lying forest section of the park. It is very noticeable how different this is with lots of trees close to each other and there are lots of insects buzzing around. I walk the short trail to Sol Duc falls which is quite a compact falls but there is a large amount of mist being generated which offers some great rainbow action when the sun peeps through the trees. After this I decide to head back to Seattle rather than stay in Port Angeles as I am feeling a bit tired and could do with a day off driving the next day.
