Mt Revelstoke NP

Aug 20th. I drive west from Golden for a couple of hours to Mt Revelstoke national park. The weather isn't good so I bypass Glacier NP on the way and am tempted to not bother doing too much. I drive up Mt Revelstoke to the top and then hike to the summit where a few trails are. The 'Meadows in the Sky' trail features Alpine meadows that Heidi would be proud of and also has a few patches of snow hidden away. The rain holds off but it is a bit dreary so I head for home and bypass Glacier NP. Not much fun if I can't see any mountains or glaciers!
