Banff NP - Descent from Cory Pass

After reaching the high point of the trail, it is time to wind my way downhill which is a little tricky on the scree slope and the path isn't quite clear in places. The views of the other side of the mountains are awesome though. I am walking through the middle of 3 big peaks. After sliding carefully down the slope, I enter the treeline and then the nerves build up again as you never know what is round the corner. The mosquitoes make this unpleasant as well and I have gained quite a few bites. Eventually I make it back to the starting point. It has taken me about 4 hours but it has been a really good hike. I have my obligatory ice cream when I get back to the village.
