Getting ever nearer to Jasper along the Icefields Parkway, there are a couple of pretty cool waterfalls along the way and some gorges to look at. The first of this is the Sunwapta falls which carries over it a huge volume of water, then there was the Athabasca falls which again is massively powerful and the scenery around it is awesome as well. The river has lots of glacial flour in it which accounts for the very blue colour. After this I finally reach Jasper Village itself and get to the hostel and then sort out my plans for the next few days hiking-wise.
