The Blue Cave

A feature that has only recently opened up in the glacier (Found by the guides 3 weeks ago) is this little cave that you can hunch over and walk through. It is pretty spectacular - although it is hard to get into it as there is a precarious rope climb and steep ice steps to get in to it. Thankfully is isn't as tight as the crevasse but nice to be able to walk through it and see all the blue ice. Note - the Blue ice is created as the ice is formed under pressure so the oxygen is sqeezed out of it so it reflects the blue light more.
