Into Abel Tasman National Park

May 11th. We decide to head into Abel Tasman National Park for the day and check out the various sites along the way. The weather is great so we head north west out of Nelson and ascend up into the hills in the Takaka region. Our first port of call is a cave system which has some Moa bones in it (extinct bird) but as luck would have it, the caves are shut for the day. The drive is pretty scenic and we get some good views of Golden Bay, Back to Nelson and also the Takaka valley.
