Orakei Korako

After lunch, the rain has stopped so we head back to Orakei Korako - The rain starts again as we drive out but we decide to carry on anyway as we don't want to miss out on the Geothermal fun. We ride across the Waikato river on a boat and enter the Lost Valley itself. It is a huge place with lots of various features including huge silica terraces, mud pools, geysers, springs.
