A near miss

May 7th. After leaving Franz Josef Glacier behind we head up the west coast. In Hokitika I park the car by the Info Centre. Suddenly 2 very old and wrinkly dears pull up next to my car and are muttering something (perhaps it was that I had parked in the spot they have used for the last 100 years). They then whizz in forwards ahead of me and then their reverse lights come on. Time to be afraid - very afraid. I quickly start the car and reverse back 20 feet, after about 5 minutes of faffing around and going backwards and forwards, the old 'dears' think they have done a good job and leave their car. Check out the results in the picture.
