Buller Gorge

After checking in to the hostel in Westport, we have an afternoon to kill. Supposedly quite close to here is the longest swing bridge in NZ which offers a zip line ride back as well. Quite close turns out to be nearly an hour and a half - the drive is good fun with lots of twists and turns but we are going to be driving this way on the way to Nelson in a few days time. Never mind, the swing bridge is long (106metres) but not too scary, the zip line is rubbish - if it had been any longer then I would of fallen asleep. The only saving grace was that I paid a childs rates as they were struggling for people. I probably could of ran over the bridge quicker. It was a bit of a wasted trip out here.
