The Giant Carrot of Ohakune

One of New Zealands most hugged 'Big Things', This Giant Carrot was put up by the locals in Ohakune in 1984 as a celebration of the local industry, there is a festival every year which attracts 8000 people who celebrate all things carrotty and orange.
